Refunds & Returns Policy

💬 This page covers both refunds and returns.

I want you to love what you order from Sarcastic Scots.

Every item is made to order and produced specifically for you after you place your order. This helps reduce waste and allows me to offer hundreds of Scottish designs without holding huge amounts of stock. 💙

Because your item is made especially for you, I can't accept returns if you change your mind or order the wrong size, so please have a wee read through this page before ordering.

📏 Choosing the Right Size

Each product page includes a size guide — please use it!

T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Sweatshirts can vary slightly between brands such as Gildan and Bella + Canvas. If you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit, I generally recommend sizing up.

Because every item is made specifically in the size, colour, and design you choose, I can't accept returns or exchanges if the wrong size is ordered.

🤝 Ordered the Wrong Size?

I understand mistakes happen. While I can't offer exchanges or full refunds for sizing errors, I may be able to offer a partial refund towards a replacement order. This is considered on a case-by-case basis and I'll always do my best to be fair.

🛠 If There's a Problem with Your Order

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, faulty, or isn't what you ordered, please get in touch and I'll investigate the issue.

Please email sharon@sarcasticscots.com within 7 days of delivery and include clear photos showing the problem.

Once I've reviewed the information, I'll arrange a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution where necessary.

💸 Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order before production begins, that's no bother. However, a small 5% cancellation fee applies to cover payment processing fees that aren't refunded to me by Shopify, PayPal, or other payment providers.

Once production has started, cancellations are no longer possible.

🚫 I Can't Accept Returns For:

• Change of mind

• Wrong size, colour, or design ordered

• Items that have been worn, washed, or altered

• Orders reported more than 30 days after delivery

🌍 Where Are Items Printed?

Sarcastic Scots is a small Scottish business based in Fife, and every design is created by me. 💙

To offer a wide range of products, colours, and sizes, I work with a fulfilment partner who prints and embroiders items after you order them.

Most UK orders are printed or embroidered in England and shipped directly to customers from there.

Depending on the product, size, or colour selected, some items may be produced elsewhere:

  • Some T-Shirt colours and larger sizes (such as 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL) may occasionally be printed and shipped from facilities outside the UK.
  • 15oz mugs are often produced and shipped from Latvia.
  • Sweatshirts are frequently produced and shipped from Latvia.
  • Other products may occasionally be fulfilled from alternative facilities if UK stock is unavailable.

All products are made to order specifically for you. Nothing is mass-produced or held as stock by Sarcastic Scots.

🚚 Where I Currently Ship

Printed and embroidered products are currently available in:

United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Pins, stickers, postcards, and other small items are available to UK addresses only.

💸 Customs & Import Charges

Orders shipped outside the UK may occasionally be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import charges depending on your country's regulations.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price.
